Brief Introduction Training: Fundamentals of CBT
The NHS (National Health Services) made a commitment to improve the availability of the Psychological Therapies In the United Kingdom and preferred method is the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Indeed, CBT is a down-to-earth technique that has gradually gained the central stage of psychotherapy in the world - an arena which was historically dominated by psychoanalytic psychotherapy. The reason for this is that numerous studies have reported CBT to be effective in treating clients diagnosed with mental health issues, or with social and emotional concerns.
During the Brief Introduction Training, Dr Zafer will be focusing on Fundamentals of CBT which is a part of the Master Practitioner Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy program in the United Kingdom. Dr Zafer will be covering; CBT- An Overview, Role of the Psychologist, Thoughts and Beliefs, Automatic and Patterned Thought Processes, the ABC Model and come CBT Techniques with the clinical cases and applications.
