Psychosocial Counseling Service for Orientation

Director: Prof. Elisabetta Camussi

The Psychosocial Counseling Service for Orientation is a service of the University's Orientation Network and offers accompanying groups and confidential and free counseling interviews to answer questions and psychological needs for orientation and re-orientation. In particular, the service offers a space to enhance resources and skills, deepening expectations, motivations, critical issues and future prospects. The aim is to foster the development of autonomy, to learn how to relate to complexity and facilitate an overall educational and satisfying university experience, in line with the perspective of the Life Design Counselling (Savickas et al., 2009).

Topics addressed:

The informed choice of a Master of Science degree.

The critical issues that can be found in university studies and the tools used to deal with them

The construction of personalized training courses and achievable projects

The vision of a future job and the activation of the necessary resources to support it.

The Service is staffed by professional psychologists, psychosocial instructors, enrolled in the Register and external to the University, and PhD students with experience in orientation.

The Service receives by appointment at the U17 building (Piazzetta Difesa per le Donne), offering face-to-face interviews, by telephone, e-mail or Skype. To book an interview write to: consulenza.psicosociale@unimib.it
