The CRIP acts as an evaluation body under the mandate of the University Ethics Committee, to which it refers. The CRIP evaluates projects within the various aspects of psychological research in which the Department is involved, and is therefore composed of members of the Department representing different areas of psychology.

It assesses research projects that are considered to be of minimal risk and refers all other assessments to the University Ethics Committee.
