Neurotechnologies for improving health and human capabilities
Neurotechnologies are systems that interface directly with the human brain to restore, repair, or augment its capabilities. In this talk, I will start by reviewing the different modalities for recording signals from the human brain. I will then present a few applications taken from my research of how neurotechnologies can help understand the human brain, improve clinical diagnosis and critical decision-making. I will then discuss my most recent work on how to use wearable technologies to sense and improve human health at scale for millions of users.
