'Early development of social and prosocial learning'
Humans are a social species whose evolutionary success is closely tied to their ability to learn from others, to cooperate with others, and to care for others. The foundation of these abilities are in infancy and toddlerhood where young children develop the capacities that make them such ultra-social animals. In this talk, I will present recent work exploring how infants and toddlers come to understand others, learn from others, and develop prosocial orientations.
