Erotic Transference
What to do, if the patient falls in love with the therapist? This situation represents one of the major challenges in psychotherapy. There seems to be no way out: either rejection or violating borders. And what should we do, if we as a therapist feel attracted by our patient - if transference love occurs? Again, the only alternatives seem to be renunciation or seduction. In this seminar we discuss, how it is possible to deal with these difficult moments in psychotherapy – to understand and make use of them so that it is helpful for the patient and not harmful to anybody.
